Hourly Service & Project-Based Work
Some work is billed hourly, while other work may be quoted with an Estimate or a fixed-price Proposal. Want to know the current rate? Just ask—we’ll be transparent.
Ad-Hoc Tasks / Hourly Work
Smaller tasks under 2 hours—like copy edits, image swaps, or “can you tweak this section?”—don’t need an Estimate. Just send us a ticket or an email, and we’ll get to it. These are billed at our hourly rate, in 15 minute increments, as part of your regular invoice cycle.
It often includes things like:
- “Can you update my Team page?”
- “Can you add this new section to my site?”
- “Can you walk me through how to use this feature?”
- “Can you help me set up my email?”
- “What do you think about this idea?”
Mid-Sized Projects
If the work will likely take more than 2 hours but less than 10, we’ll send you an Estimate before starting. It’ll cover what we’re doing, how long we expect it to take, and what it will cost.
Larger Projects
For big projects (like a website build or brand overhaul), we’ll provide a Proposal that clearly lays out the scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost. Once you sign off, we get rolling.
Consulting Services
Consulting is about giving you strategic insight—on marketing, systems, or big decisions. Here’s how we approach it:
- Over 2 hours: We’ll send a scope and Estimate first.
- 2 hours or less: We’ll email you the terms and rate, and move forward once you give us the go-ahead.
Some consulting—like work done directly by Scott Gingrich—may be billed at a different rate. We’ll be clear about that up front.
If there’s ever a conflict between what’s in a Proposal or Estimate and this overall agreement,
the Proposal or Estimate will govern those specific details.
Everything else in this agreement stays in full effect.
